Q: How do I use Roadside Assistance?

You can call the Roadside Assistance number anytime from within the CarDash app. When calling, you will need to verify your membership by providing your name, CarDash Member Number, and vehicle. Please note that roadside assistance is available starting 7 days after you add your vehicle and verify your account.

Q: What's included in my roadside assistance?

We cover tows, jumpstarts, battery problems, emergency fuel delivery (fuel at your cost), tire change, lockouts, and winching. Basically, anything you need to get out of a jam.

Q. Does the service cover my vehicle specifically or any vehicle I'm in?

The Basic and Silver plans cover you while you are a driver or passenger in any vehicle you list on your CarDash account. The Gold plan covers you in any vehicle that you are in. 

Q: What if I need a tow beyond my mileage range?

The Gold plan covers you up to 100 miles at no cost, which is the farthest tow we provide. If you need additional mileage on the free (5 miles) or Silver (25 miles) plan, the charge per mile is $6 per mile, pro-rated in 1/10th mile increments.

Q. Can I add family members to my account?

Family accounts are not yet available but coming soon.

Q. What if I want to cancel part way through?

Memberships are renewed on an annual basis and you may cancel any time. There are no refunds for prior annual payments (other than during the 7 day cancellation period!)

Q. How does lockout assistance work?

If you have either our Silver or Gold plan and your keys are locked inside a covered vehicle, a qualified service provider will be dispatched to attempt to gain entry. This benefit is limited to a maximum coverage of $50 under the Silver plan and $100 of coverage under the Gold plan. In cases where the vehicle cannot be made operable, your towing benefits will still be available to you.

Q: How long will roadside assistance take to arrive?

Non-tow services will arrive within an average of 30 minutes through our national tow provider. Tow services can take up to an hour depending on your location and road conditions. Extraordinary conditions could cause additional delays but are rare.

All 50 US States.

Q: What hours would I be covered by roadside assistance?

Roadside assistance is available 365 days a year and 24/7.

Q: When does coverage go live once I sign up?

Coverage for specific vehicles goes live 7 days after they have been added and you verified your account. Coverage under the Gold and Silver plans goes live 7 days after signing up for the Gold or Silver plan and verifying your account.
